Family-owned and involved for more than 20 years, Almond Road Senior Estates, L.L. C. is a residential care facility located in the hills of Castro Valley, licensed by the state of California and is committed to empowering its residents through our continuum of care services.
Our community adapts to senior care needs. A customized support net of daily services, such as assistance with shopping, cleaning or medication management, helps residents retain their independence. Our community is also able to deliver a more intensive level of dementia or diabetes care as necessary. Prior to move in, a review of the physical and mental status of each resident allows for the development of a customized program that provides structure and support. Our licensed clinical staff is available to coordinate care, follow a physician's orders, monitor health status, and manage medications. Though focused on the physical care of residents, Assisted Living also creates a nurturing environment that encourages social activity and personal growth.

Our residents enjoy our gardens, waterfalls, koi pond, fruit tree garden and vegetable garden.

Our Maltese dogs, love birds, cats, and chickens provide a uniquely calming and stimulating environment based on the need of the person(s) around them.

olivia I would like to introduce myself as the founder and administrator of Almond Road Senior Estates, a unique board and care for the elderly.

My name is Olivia Rusu. I was born in Romania, and moved to United States of America during my teenage years. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and also a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of valuable experience in hospital care. My enjoyment of caring for others encouraged me to create a care facility to continue my work.

I know the busy lives families lead these days, and how difficult it can be to devote the time and attention one would like, to an aging parent. I set the highest of standards to ensure that our residents feel lovingly cared for in an active and cheerful environment.
